CREATE A STORY YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL LOVE YOU FOR

You know why you’re passionate about your business, but do your customers know it?

You know why you’re passionate about your business, but do your customers know it?

Do you tell people your “why”?

When people ask you what you do for a living, you might simply say, “I teach.”

Got it. But, you see, a lot of people teach. This kind of statement just tells people the “what” of your work.

What people are really interested in is the “why” of your work. What do I mean by that?

Let’s try bumping that original statement of “I teach” up a bit closer towards your why. It might look something like:

“I teach cheese classes.”

Ok, you’re more interesting now. Let’s get a little closer.

You need to ask yourself WHY you teach cheese classes. Or, why YOU sell fly fishing rods, align chakras, bake cupcakes…. insert your business here! ;)

“I teach people about the way cheese is made because I believe it can change people’s perspectives about the hidden wonders of food.”

BOOM! Ok, now we’re getting somewhere!

Getting you closer to your “why” is just the kind of thing I can help with.

It’s all about my goal for you, which is to help you tell a simpler yet more intriguing story that is truer to who you are.

Getting closer to your “why” helps you articulate your values. And articulating your values will draw your audience closer to you. And in the process, grow your business.

If growing your business sounds like something you’re into, hit me up.

Or, if you just want to chat in general about brand strategy, naming, copywriting, storytelling, and yes, even cheese, give me a shout.
